Institutional Development Plan (2020-21 To 2029-30)

The Dominant College of Education, Dausa, established by Govt of Rajsthan, Jaipur  and Affiliated with  University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, has consistently strived for excellence, navigating both the pre and post-independence eras with impeccable grace, utmost dignity, and unwavering academic integrity. To equip students with academic competencies for their growth and meaningful contribution to society, the college has always accorded the highest priority to quality teaching while steadfastly upholding the values and ethics of education. Grounded in the mission and values of the college, the Institutional Development Plan (IDP) outlines a clear pathway for enhancing academic excellence, research capabilities, governance and infrastructure, while fostering an inclusive and dynamic educational environment. It has emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities and social outreach programs, enriching the development of well-rounded individuals.

Aligning with the millennial priorities outlined in the National Education Policy 2020, the college, through this strategic blueprint, seeks to drive holistic growth, cultivate innovative approaches, and implement transformative plans in a phased manner, categorized into short, mid, and long-term objectives across key operational areas. By addressing critical Enablers, the IDP establishes a solid foundation for sustainable progress and resilience in an ever-evolving academic landscape. This visionary plan positions the college to enhance its leadership role in both society and the global educational arena.

Dominant College of Education, Dausa is committed to the holistic development of the students. The college aims to create a strong internal system for supporting diverse student associates in academic and social domains. The Institutional Development Plan will help to guide and plan to achieve this goal.                                                                                                                       

Mr LM Meena (Asst Prof in Pol Sci.) will be act as Convener of the Institutional Development Plan (2020-2030) Running Course at present –BA, BSc (Bio), BSc (Bio), PGDCA, MA Diploma and Certificates.

Following is the year wise institutional development plan of Dominant College of Education, Dausa (Raj) 2020-21 to 2029-30 as discussed in annual board meeting Agenda no. 4 dated on 21/01/2021.

2021-22 ·        Give academic excellence and promotion of sports/cultural events.
·        Strengthening of remedial/tutorial classes to improve results at UG level.
·        Ensure basic medical facilities for all students in the institution.
2022-23 ·        Strengthening Library and Book-Bank
·        Institutional Preparedness For NEP – 2020 & Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in toto.
·        Obtain youth activities grants from government or private  agencies.
·        Conduct state and national seminars, webinars, workshops, conferences.
2023-24 ·        Introduce Job oriented Computer Course (PGDCA).
·        Encourage students to be members of the various cells, associations, clubs of the college.
·        Create opportunities to gain knowledge, skills, and credentials in high demanding fields.
2024-25 ·        Alumni Engagement/ Activities plan
·        Exposing the students to online distance learning and access to online content.
2025-26 ·        Enhancement of Skill Development Courses
·        Introduction PG (MA/MSc) Courses
·        Enhance industry academia linkages through MoUs and contractual agreement.
·        Training students for undertaking minor research through offering of scholarships.
·        Strengthen Office Automation.
2026-27 ·        Enhance employability of the students.
·        To get accreditation of NAAC
·        Organize apprenticeship planning with local industries for the students.
2027-28 ·        Establish college as a recognized research center
·        Planning local job fairs, summer internships, workshops, certificate courses, field trips.
·        Regular FDPs on administrative guidelines and relevant procedures related to RTI, exams, fees, admissions etc. by       inviting experts in respective fields.
·        Provide residential facilities to Teaching and Non-teaching staff.
2028-29 ·        To obtain potential for excellence status from NAAC.
·        Conducting soft skill training for multitasking staff.
·        To develop separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
2029-30 ·        To obtain Autonomy from UGC.
·        Promotion of the Faculty.
·        Decentralization of administrative and financial powers.
